BMWs F 82 M4 debuted in 2014, with the CS (Club Sport) variation being introduced in 2017 and discontinued in 2020. When last sold in NZ, the retail price was $245,000.
This car was purchased new directly from BMW NZ in September 2020. Only two of these special cars were brought to NZ by BMW NEW ZEALAND, with this one being in its original condition - it has not undergone any modifications.
It is painted in a CS only spec paint, Lime Rock Grey.
The CS is considerably different to drive than the standard M4. It is tuned around the Michelin Pilot Cup 2 tyres, 19 on front, 20 on rear. Staggered tyre sizes, combined with suspension tuning, gives the car a considerably enhanced drive through corners than the standard M4.
The CS is lighter than the F 82 M4 Competition Pack due to its carbon fibre bonnet (taken off the GTS model), Carbon Fibre roof and more stripped out interior. But unlike the top of the M4 range GTS, the CS is a road friendly car. It has leather seats for 4 persons and a high spec interior finish. Also taken from the GTS is the titanium M Sports exhaust system.
The CS cars are rare and very collectible. With the new M4 CSL being introduced into NZ this year at an asking price of around $345,000, but only .1 second faster than the CS model, the CS remains a far better investment. And thats without considering the unfortunate face BMW have chosen for its new model range.
The best looking of all the M4 CS.
